Privacy Policy
The short version
GovtTenderHub has no accounts and only asks for your name, email and phone number if you choose to send us a message. The site shows ads from Google and measures visits with Google Analytics; both use cookies.
Stored in your browser
Saved tenders, the searches you follow, your recently viewed tenders and the time of your last visit are kept in your browser's local storage so the site can show them to you. They stay on your device; clearing your browser data removes them.
Sent to our server
To show how many new tenders appeared in searches you follow, your browser sends those search links and the time you last looked. Our server replies with counts and doesn't keep them. When a visit starts, the site adds one to a single visit total shown in the footer; your IP address is held in memory for 30 minutes so one visit isn't counted twice, and is never written to disk. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, we store what you enter (name, email, phone number and your message) so we can reply. We use it for nothing else, and delete messages within 12 months. Your IP address is held in memory for an hour to stop spam, and is never stored.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive (for example from a search engine), the device and browser type, approximate location (city or region), and actions such as following a search, saving or sharing a tender. It sets cookies and sends this information to Google; we don't send your name or contact details because we don't have them. You can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about you with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses data from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Links to official portals
Tender pages link to government procurement portals and GeM. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave GovtTenderHub.
